The Urban Forms Foundation, established in 2008 in Łódź, conducts activities involving the dissemination of urban culture and art and its promotion in various communities in Poland and abroad.
Mission:The Foundation is dedicated to artists, and they host artistic pieces. Moreover, they initiate and engage in many other actions related to Łódź urban culture, education, science and city life. Their results may not be as well known as the murals of the city.
Impact:the Foundation has led to the creation of 149 murals, installations and smaller art objects in the public space of Łódź and other cities. Thanks to the activities of the Urban Forms Foundation, Łódź began to be perceived as a city of murals and today it is known all over the world. The social impact that they awakened is of high relevance for citizens and the identity of the city.
